Instructions to make a lovely Needle Felted Donkey - this is a digital download only
Ensure that you are able to open PDF documents before purchasing.

Created by Jo Gardiner, these instructions will show you step by step, how to make your own beautiful needle felted Donkey.
 
There are 10 pages of instructions including nearly 90 photos and also a size guide page.
 
You will make a Donkey that is approximately 12 cm tall (you can size up if you feel confident enough).
 
You will need to purchase or have access to:
 
•    Core wool - course, off-white wool - 30g will be plenty
•    Bergschaf or similar coarse wool (natural light brown & dark brown) 20g will be plenty
•    Maori or similar (sand/off-white)  - small amount                                                  
•    Jacob or similar (dark brown) - coarser than merino with fibres going in same direction - 10g
•    Felting mat
•    4 x Felting needles - 40, 38, 36 & a reverse needle
•    2 x 4mm black glass eyes 
•    Finger protectors, all-purpose glue and small scissors 
 
Details of UK suppliers are contained within the instructions. You can use similar products from other suppliers, just ensure that you buy coarse wool where advised - suppliers should be able to advise you regarding this.This craft requires the use of very sharp needles, therefore it is not suitable for young children. The finished Item is ornamental and is not a toy.
