Instructions to make two Needle Felted Hares, one with ears up and one moon gazing - this is a digital download only
Ensure that you are able to open PDF documents before purchasing.
Suitable for beginners and improvers.
Created by Jo Gardiner, these instructions will show you step by step, how to make your own beautiful needle felted Hares.
There are 8 pages of instructions including 70 + photos and also a size guide page.
You will make a Hare that is approximately 13 cm tall with it's ears up and 10 cm with it's ears down (you can size up if you feel confident enough).
You will need to purchase or have access to:
• Bergschaf wool or similar coarse wool (natural light brown) - 25g will be plenty for 2 x Hares
• Maori wool or similar (sand/off-white & pink) - small amount
• Merino wool (dark brown) - small amount
• Felting mat
• 3x Felting needles - 40, 38, 36
• 4 x 2mm black glass eyes
• Finger protectors, all-purpose glue and small scissors
Details of UK suppliers are contained within the instructions. You can use similar products from other suppliers, just ensure that you buy coarse wool where advised - suppliers should be able to advise you regarding this.
As a size guide, the mat in the photo's is 10cm x 10cm.
This craft requires the use of very sharp needles, therefore it is not suitable for young children.
The finished Item is ornamental and is not a toy
