Instructions to make a Needle Felted Sloth - this is a digital download only.

Created by Jo Gardiner, these instructions will show you step by step, how to make your own beautiful needle felted Sloth
 
There are 7 pages of instructions including 30 + photos and also a size guide page.
 
You will make a Sloth that is approximately 10 cm tall.
 
You will need to purchase or have access to:
 
•    Bergschaf wool or similar coarse wool (natural light brown) - 20g 
•    Core wool - 20g
•    Maori wool or similar (sand/off-white & beaver/dark brown)                                                                  
•    Felting mat
•    3x Felting needles - 40, 38, 36 
•    2 x4mm black glass eyes 
•    2 x 30cm pipe cleaners (neutral colour)
•    Finger protectors, all-purpose glue and small scissors 
 
Details of UK suppliers are contained within the instructions.  You can use similar products from other suppliers, just ensure that you buy coarse wool where advised - suppliers should be able to advise you regarding this.
 
As a size guide for measuring wool, the mat in the pictures is 10cm x 10cm.
 
This craft requires the use of very sharp needles, therefore it is not suitable for young children.  
The finished Item is ornamental and is not a toy
